Single greatest RTS ever made is Starcraft. It's just not debatable.
But, this one doesn't look too shabby either.

I understand what "RTS" means (Real-Time Strategy). I don't have the game. I don't even LIKE RTS games.
Why do I need to jump off a cliff?
Though, to be honest, I'm glad you're enjoying it.

TA players like to cheer about how their game is so great.
Unfortunately, the world of esports and money doesn't care. What's up, StarCraft?

I lulzed, rock paper scissors game held up by its fans as an RTS the same way JG gamers pretend their games are RPGs. Did you know there are people who actually call themselves professional Starcraft players? I also know about people who call themselves professional toilet cleaners.
EDIT: I also [email protected] being called greatest RTS.

Yes. AoE2 was one of the best RTS games ever. AoE3 wasn't as good, but was still pretty good.

Since I don't feel like arguing about it (SC arguments never get resolved as far as I've seen, they're like setting vs setting debates) we'll each agree to like our own thing.
However, I can't just leave this thread without one more bit of criticism at something (because I like to criticize things, from games to nations to religions), so before I move on to the BioWare forums to check out their MMO thread, I'd like to ask, based on that screenshot from tauniverse.com, is that a browser game, a cell phone game, or what? I'm not very familiar with it, pretty sure I saw something like that on onemorelevel.com. Little help here please, OP.
(Apparently image in square brackets becomes a skill... replaced with [img].)

/signed on that comment.
on TA: When my parents bought our first ever computer all those years ago we got a free copy of Total Annihilation with it. I was totally addicted for a very long time. One of my favourite units was a Triton (?) - an underwater tank. I'd just go all defensive to begin with and create me a whole army of Tritons - quick trip underwater and roll anything in their path.
It was awesome, until I found AoE2.

Oh crap guys, gamespy said something four years ago. A site who's job it is to give superficial reviews on games they barely play, while some of the basic factors of game quality are depth, complexities and skill reward.
It's not exactly a credible source for subjective opinions. Or really, any facts either.
